9:25 AM PT — Nelly’s lawyer tells TMZ, “Nelly is the victim of a completely fabricated allegation. Our initial investigation, clearly establishes the allegation is devoid of credibility and is motivated by greed and vindictiveness. I am confident, once the scurrilous accusation is thoroughly investigated, there will be no charges. Nelly is prepared to pursue all all legal avenues to redress any damage caused by this clearly false allegation.”
Nelly has been arrested for allegedly raping a woman … TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell us, a woman claims she was raped on the rapper’s tour bus in Washington, where he’s been performing. Nelly is on a tour with Florida Georgia Line and they are set to perform Saturday night in Ridgefield, Washington.

Female-Led Greatest American Hero Reboot Pilot Ordered by ABC
A reboot of the early ’80s TV series The Greatest American Hero has gotten a put pilot commitment from ABC, according to Deadline. The half-hour, single-camera comedy will feature Meera, an Indian-American woman as the lead. The reboot comes to us from Fresh Off the Boat writer/producer Rachna Fruchbom and Nahnatchka Khan’s Fierce Baby. 20th Century Fox TV will co-produce with ABC Studios. Fruchbom will write the script. She’ll produce with Mandy Summers from Fierce Baby as well as the original show producer Steven J. Cannell’s daughter, television director Tawnia McKiernan.Read more here -
Ralph Macchio Begins Filming ‘Karate Kid’ Reboot TV Series
Ralph Macchio and William Zabka were spotted Sunday filming scenes for The Karate Kid reboot in Atlanta.
The actors were reprising their roles as Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence for the upcoming YouTube Red series Cobra Kai.
Ralph, 55, looked sharp in a light blue dress shirt and dark trousers while filming.

David Cassidy, ‘Partridge Family’ star, dies at 67
David Cassidy, pop culture idol of the 1970s, died Tuesday in a Florida hospital. The musician and actor was 67.
His publicist JoAnn Geffen confirmed his death, with a statement from his family. “On behalf of the entire Cassidy family, it is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our father, our uncle, and our dear brother, David Cassidy. David died surrounded by those he loved, with joy in his heart and free from the pain that had gripped him for so long. Thank you for the abundance and support you have shown him these many years.”
He had been hospitalized for several days with organ failure. Cassidy announced his diagnosis with dementia in early 2017. He performed at the B.B. King Blues Club & Grill in New York in March, talking about his dementia, and said his arthritis made playing guitar an ordeal.
